This meditation is going to be a mix of your perfect day but with a higher self-perspective.

We are going to think about this version you strive to be, that fulfills your everyday experience. I did a meditation a few years ago and I saw my life as very different than what was my current reality. It wasn’t until a few months later that I realized I was living this vision that I didn’t know was possible.  So be open to what comes through even though it might seem impossible. I recommend this meditation first thing in the morning or right before bed.

I encourage you to take this practice, however it feels best for you.

Today I'll be walking you through a meditation. It can be used while walking, sitting, lying down, or even doing your daily tasks. I don't recommend meditation while driving or using machinery. I encourage you to feel in your body whenever you're in a safe place. If this is your first time, Welcome. And if you've been here for a bit, thank you for coming back. Enjoy today's meditation.

Today we are going to use a technique that has helped me follow the feelings of the life I dream of. Remember that meditation takes practice so if you don’t see anything or feel anything this time then keep practicing. I want you to visualize what your perfect normal day looks like but I also want you to look for the future version of yourself who experiences this day. When I have connected with this future version of myself, she shows me the microhabitats I need to implement to have this vision come forth. We don’t magically become this person, we take inspired action every day to connect with this vision.

This meditation is to connect your mind to the feelings you want to have in your life

    Let’s get started

Find a comfortable seat that can allow you to get grounded. If you are walking then be mindful of every step you take to connect with the earth below.

Take three rounds of deep breaths

Allow the expectation of the day to release into the ground.

Allow your mind to settle and bring awareness into the body.

Try not to control your idea of your perfect day but allow your intuition to come forth so that visions you didn’t know existed come through.

    Take a deep breath in

    And out

Your eyes are closed and you begin to wake up. Does the sunlight filter through the window wake, you? Does the sound of your alarm wake you? How do you wake up in a way that feels nourishing?

What do you do next? Is it a meditation to help ease your mind before the day? Is it reading a chapter or two of your favorite book? It is walking outside in nature with your favorite beverage in hand. Keep in mind that going right to our phones is something that may affect the rest of the day so be mindful to nourish your body in some way before checking emails or scrolling social media.

    Take a deep breath in

    And out

What is the next thing you do before starting your work day?

Is it having a nourishing breakfast?

Is it moving your body in a way that feels good to you?

Having healthy habits in the morning will help support us through the day.

Now, what are you doing in your daily work day? Is it filling your soul? It’s ok if it isn’t. As long as you integrate soul-filling activities in your work week that you can keep your spirits, creativity, and drive to come shining through. When we hustle in our lives without connection to our soul desires, it can lead right to burnout. Schedule these activities that light you up every single week. And try to have something a few minutes each day as well.

    Take a deep breath in

    And out

As you navigate through your work day are you taking breaks to check in with your body? Are you leaving time to move your body? Are you taking a moment to step outside and get fresh air to reinvigorate your senses?

Are you leaving time for connection for those who drive you to do better? Taking time through the day to check in to access your needs will allow that mind-body connection to come through to make sure you aren’t hustling through past a point of depletion.

    Take a deep breath in

    And out

As you walk through this day see if your future self comes to show you the way.

    What are they wearing?

    And what are they doing?

    How are they talking?

Who are they spending their time with?

What activities are filling their soul?

Where are they spending their time?

What music are they listening to?

What foods do they eat to feel satisfied and nourished?

Take a few moments to let any visions come through…..

    Take a deep breath in

    And out

What do they do to wrap up and close out their work day?

What do they do to enjoy the moments before them?

Is it to sit outside and give gratitude?

Is it a walk in nature?

Who are they spending their time with?

Do they connect with their creativity by painting, dancing, or singing?

What are their nightly habits to ensure their sleep is restful?

Do they leave their phone in another room when 8 pm hits so they can disconnect from the virtual world?

Do they clear the energy that has attached from the day?

Do they journal to process their emotions and situation from the day?

Do they give gratitude to the experiences from the day?

Do they meditate to disconnect from the constant stimulation of the day?

Visualize your head hitting the pillow

Do you feel fulfilled? It’s ok if not.

Allow the visions from that day to settle in.

Take note of anything that you want to implement in your current reality.

    Take a deep breath in

    And out

Bring your awareness back to the current moment.

How did that day make you feel?

I encourage you to journal or take notes on the activities or feelings you had in this meditation. If any habits feel nourishing to you, make a plan to implement them into your daily or weekly routine.

Taking these steps and bringing these micro habits into your day little by little will bring your closer to this vision.

Remember that your dream life is closer than you think if every time you make a choice to replace a negative habit with a nourishing and positive habit. You are powerful my friend when you put your mind, body, and soul as a priority.
