Navigating the Path of a Projector: Embracing Authenticity and Recognizing Energetic Boundaries

We dive intothe  profound journey of self-recognition and energy alignment as a projector with Bren Olson. I break down the core essence of being a projector, where waiting for invitation and recognition is the cornerstone of life's purpose. Projectors are born to utilize their gifts from a space of appreciation, and Bren share’s the intricacies of this role, shedding light on the challenges that arise from her unique energy dynamics.

As the discussion unfolds, the interaction between projectors and generators comes to the forefront. We explore how the energy of generators, the productive workhorses, can impact projectors. Bren candidly shares her personal experiences, touching on instances where exposure to generator energy left her feeling depleted and dysregulated. She connects the dots between her former role as a generator and her authentic identity as a projector, emphasizing the importance of understanding one's natural rhythm for overall well-being.

Bren's insights reveal a path of conscious self-care and boundary-setting, particularly crucial for projectors. By recognizing the triggers and embracing a slow, intentional approach, projectors like Bren can harness their gifts while maintaining their energetic equilibrium.

Navigating Undefined Centers in Human Design: Projectors as Guides to Clarity

Explore the remarkable insight into the undefined, open, or white centers in human design as I help Bren uncover the significance in her life. I highlight how projectors serve as invaluable guides for generators and manifesting generators, offering a fresh perspective on the world around them. With their inherent ability to observe without immediate action, projectors provide a mirror for generators, who are often caught up in the rapid flow of life.

Bren delves into the common journey of projectors discovering their role amidst societal expectations that may urge them towards manifesting or generating. She emphasizes the beauty of embracing their unique capacity to hold space and guide without initiating, effectively supporting the energy dynamics of those around them. The conversation unfolds to reveal the synergy between Human Design and spiritual guidance. By acknowledging the energetic circuitry within a person's chart, projectors can help others recognize and channel their energy more efficiently.

I illuminate the collaborative relationship between projectors and other types, showcasing how the undefined centers act as beacons of clarity. Together, they enable a holistic understanding of each person's strengths, challenges, and energetic balance.

Harnessing Efficiency through Energy Understanding: Human Design Types Unveiled

Uncover the insightful analogy that demystifies human design types for optimal energy alignment. This conversation delves into a captivating analogy that simplifies the essence of different human design types. From generators as cultivators to manifesting generators as race cars, each type is likened to a specific vehicle that embodies its characteristics. I discuss the significance of team dynamics for manifesting generators, the independent nature of manifesters, and the guiding role of projectors.

As the dialogue unfolds, the focus shifts to understanding the energy dynamics associated with the crown center, particularly when it is open, undefined, or white in a person's chart. I share insights into the susceptibility of these areas to external influences. Exploring the analogy of an open crown as being easily swayed, projectors should navigate the intricacies of embracing diverse inspirations and the challenge of maintaining a distinct sense of self amidst various ideas.

Navigating Splenic Authority: Trusting Your Inner Knowing and Resonance

I chat about the profound wisdom and distinct essence of the splenic center, discussing its defined and colored nature as a source of instant, intuitive knowing. I share with Bren the dynamic interplay between this authority and the external influences that can impact its clarity. I highlight the necessity of stepping away from external energies to truly discern whether a decision resonates with one's authentic self.

As the conversation unfolds, the focus shifts to the connection between the splenic and crown centers. I share my personal journey of understanding her inner authority as a manifesting generator and the challengesI faced when not honoring my natural rhythm. I emphasize the transformative power of discernment, allowing one to distinguish between their creative expression and external influences.

The conversation resonates deeply with women who have been conditioned to constantly do and achieve, offering a refreshing perspective on embracing cyclical patterns, rest, and intuitive inspiration. Join us in this empowering discussion as she encourages individuals to honor their innate essence, courageously contrasting the mold to create authentically from within.

Embracing Personal Destiny: Unveiling the Right Angle in Human Design

With different human design types, Bren and I share a common thread – the right angle. This angle signifies a personal destiny, a path of self-discovery, healing, and empowerment. Unlike the left angle, which thrives on interactions, the right angle's journey is about understanding oneself, operating authentically, and using personal experiences to aid others.

As the conversation unfolds, I dive into the initial challenge of feeling selfish when embracing this destiny. Self-healing is not selfish, but a necessary step towards becoming better versions of ourselves. We talk about our own experiences of navigating shame and guilt associated with following an authentic path. I invite you to trust yourselve, honoring your unique journeys and understanding that self-discovery isn't selfish; it's a transformative process that creates a ripple effect of positive change in the world.

Wde talk about how modeling healthy behavior has a profound impact, planting the seeds of change in those around us. Demonstrating self-love in action is a potent invitation for others to explore their own transformative journeys, avoiding the pitfalls of forcing viewpoints.

As the dialogue unfolds, we dive into the nuanced realm of emotions, particularly anger. Bren underscores the importance of managing emotions like anger with a sense of responsibility and awareness, preventing them from becoming venomous or suppressed. She discusses the integration of emotions, urging listeners to embrace emotions as messengers rather than repressing or projecting them onto others.

Equipping Your Journey of Self-Rediscovery: Unveiling the Tools for Personal Growth

Discover a journey of self-rediscovery and empowerment with Bren Olson as she uncovers the transformative tools that have fueled her path of self-awareness and healing. Bren shares her experiences with somatics, tapping, affirmations, and the profound impact of plant medicine, particularly ayahuasca and mushrooms. These tools have been instrumental in her journey of connecting with her intuition and spirituality. The conversation delves into how these practices have supported Bren's evolution from a science-oriented background to embracing her authentic self and intuition. With a science background, it took time for her to release control and embrace the powerful healing potential of these tools, and her experiences offer insights into the profound shifts that can occur when surrendering to the unknown and nurturing oneself authentically.

Bren's journey highlights the importance of honoring one's intuition, even when it challenges conventional perspectives. Her intuitive awakening has shown that the path to personal transformation is unique for each individual, and the tools and practices that resonate should be explored with an open heart and a willingness to let go of control. Through her experiences, Bren's story becomes an inspiring testament to the power of embracing vulnerability, aligning with inner guidance, and navigating the dynamic dance between science and spirituality.

Projectors in the Corporate World: Balancing Gifts and Roles

Discover the unique journey of projectors in the corporate world as they navigate their innate gifts and intuitive abilities. Hi Bren, welcome to the show. [00:01:48] Bren: Thank you so much for having me. [00:01:50] Discovering Essential Self-Care Practices as a Projector: Nurturing Authenticity and Embracing Slow Living --- [00:01:50] Cara: I always love to dive in and hear all about your favorite self-care practices. [00:01:55] Bren: That's a great place to start. It's one of my absolute favorite topics and [00:02:00] probably my most recent realization is that is my authenticity at its core whether I'm serving or receiving, I'm always choosing self-care and the self-care of others. I've been on a journey for many years searching out very different, ways to nurture myself and it's definitely become my most favorable. [00:02:22] Bren: Pastime, right? some high level ones that I enjoy baths. I'm a water girl. I need my time to go slow and just be held by the water, and I love to be outside and ground with the mother Earth and go slow. I've definitely found my natural rhythm is much slower than the past 30 some years of my life, and I'm,I'm embracing that as my most recent self-care practice of moving very slow and intentional. [00:02:53] Cara: I love that so much. of course I had to look up your human design chart and I wonder in the world [00:03:00] of being a projector, if that is a realization of being like, wow, I am not meant to be doing like the generators and that you need that time. And I feel like especially women have that realization, I'm sure a lot of them know at some point in their life, but especially in their thirties, they're like, wait a second, I'm not meant to be in this fast paced, always doing and going. [00:03:26] Navigating the Path of a Projector: Embracing Authenticity and Recognizing Energetic Boundaries --- [00:03:26] Cara: So as a you are ultimately meant to be waiting in the wings, like waiting to be invited, your goal in life is to be included and recognized with your accomplishments, you're born to use your gifts from a,position of appreciation, but because your chart has more undefined or white, it's that energy around a generator. [00:03:49] Cara: Just being around a generator, generators are meant to build. They're meant to do, they're like the workhorses of the world. even just being in the presence of a generator ultimately [00:04:00] can deplete you. I wonder if there's some people that you're just like, why being around them do I feel exhausted? [00:04:06] Cara: If you have that, and especially being a mother, if that is the case, and I'm a manifesting generator, so a lot of times people are like, whoa, hold up. I am attracted to a lot of projectors because they really help guide me. [00:04:22] Cara: They see where I'm stuck. They see where I'm maybe moving too fast. but I also know that they're a little bit like, that's intense energy. [00:04:31] Bren: That resonates much. I had to laugh at so many of those things. you know, for so long I played the role of the generator, which was just not authentic to my natural rhythm, which I'm just coming around to honoring. And then I'm seeing when I do get around that really fast pace activity, which is perfectly fine if it fits you. [00:04:52] Bren: My nervous system gets dysregulated, and so I've been really working for a long time on regulating my nervous system, healing [00:05:00] from my past, really getting grounded in my presence so I can be that person there waiting to be invited in to offer my medicine from a very intentful, slow nurturing place. [00:05:12] Bren: as I learn more about myself and being many years as a generator, that was not authentic to me. The more I got to know my body and my nervous system, the more recently I realized that in my slow flow, being around a generator or the hustle or even the cities can be dysregulating for me. [00:05:31] Bren: So it's really important that I. I'm aware of where my nervous system is and I stay really regulated with my self-care practices that allow me to then offer myself from a very centered, grounded place. 'cause that is very important to me. I believe when you're gifted with, we all have beautiful gifts, but the medicine that's wanting to come through me right now, it comes with a responsibility and that is that I show up centered and grounded and authentic so that I can navigate it appropriately. [00:05:59] Navigating Undefined Centers in Human Design: Projectors as Guides to Clarity --- [00:05:59] Cara: [00:06:00] the thing I love about projectors is they're beautiful guides for those generators and the manifesting generators around them. Because we, as generators move so quickly that sometimes we just don't see the, I don't wanna say the chaos around us, [00:06:18] Cara: but with you having so much openness, undefined or white in your chart, you're just more susceptible with, taking in someone else's ideas in your mind or just even your voice. that's beautiful that you found that. I think a lot of projectors either wanna fight it at first because they've been conditioned to think that they need to be a manifester or a generator. [00:06:42] Cara: And so a manifester is meant to initiate. They're meant to push things forward and get things started. I'm a manifesting generator, even though it's a manifesting generator. I'm not meant to initiate things. And so that's been my lesson. I've also found that. I'm [00:07:00] supposed to hustle in only the things that light me up and give me energy, and I didn't know how to discern that. [00:07:06] Cara: But the beautiful thing is when I have projectors around me, they can help me see where that energy that's not serving me is being leaked out. And so when you look at a human design chart, it's energetic circuitry. So while you may have more white in your chart, it's a beautiful guide to say oh, I see all these thoughts through her head. [00:07:27] Cara: Let me help her confine it down and help her really get clear [00:07:33] Cara: and see how they support each other [00:07:38] Understanding your energy to be more efficient of your energy --- [00:07:38] Cara: I want to talk about this analogy because I feel like this helps break down the different types A generator, think of them as a cultivator or a tractor. In farming, they are meant to make something tangible in what they're doing. They're meant to be that workhorse. [00:07:54] Cara: They're meant to actually create something. I'm a manifesting generator. I call myself a [00:08:00] race car because I do things very quickly. But I need a team because I'm very quick in my actions. I'm supposed to make things more efficient, but I also will skip steps. And so I need that team to help me make sure I'm checking all the boxes if I'm not listening to my gauges on my race car. [00:08:18] Cara: Then my car will burn out. A manifester is a jet pack and they're meant to likedo everything on their own. They don't really need a team. But they are great on managing people, initiating, pushing people to do those things that they're supposed to do. A projector is like a train cab. Once people hitch to your cab, you guide them beautifully. So you're meant to have people hitch to you, but they have to be ready and be hitched to do it. And then a reflector is like an electric or solar powered car. Once they get the energy from around them, they can guide, but they are also very Mutable to the people around them. [00:08:55] White/Undefined/Open crown --- [00:08:55] Cara: And so that's ultimately what that white means in a chart is [00:09:00] you're easily influenced in those areas. So with your crown being open, you are open to all sorts of inspiration at random ideas, random times. And you love to immerse yourself in the different atmospheres and connecting to artistic people. you have to be aware that you're not living in someone else's shadow because you may be easily swayed. when there's all these ideas and you say you're in, A group, and you're talking about all these beautiful ideas, it's really important for you to take that in and then have time by yourself to be able to process all these ideas and see what really resonates with you. [00:09:37] Navigating Splenic Authority: Trusting Your Inner Knowing and Resonance --- [00:09:37] Cara: I'm gonna jump to your inner authority, because you have that splenic, it's defined, it's colored. You should know instantly if it's meant for you, but sometimes you need to be out of that space, out of that influence of other people's energy to really see if that is resonant with you. [00:09:53] Bren: to initiate.Um, and that's where it led me to burnout because I would have all these awesome ideas and then get [00:10:00] defeated when I couldn't manage them all, even with a team realizing that sometimes I get that little download poop just to deliver that when someone comes into my sphere and is asking those questions and I'm like, oh, that's why that came [00:10:13] Bren: so the discerning is what kind of grown into most recently, and that gave myself permission to not see my past as like, failures. I just had so much information and I wasn't really sure what to do with at all. and 'cause that white space is where my medicine works. It's that limitless possibilities. [00:10:32] Bren: And that's what I love to help people with okay, what do you wanna create? You can create anything here. yeah, I have to be careful and discern whether it's my creative expression or someone else's, and I need time to sit with that sometimes because I've had to get to know my body again because I've been so dissociated from trauma in my past. [00:10:50] Bren: I had to be embodied fully first to discern appropriately. [00:10:54] Cara: Yeah, that makes so much sense. again, there's so many women, especially we've been [00:11:00] conditioned to think we're supposed to do everything all the time, and we're not especially as women, we're not at all. And so understanding our body there is a time for productivity, but there's also a really important time of rest and there's important time of planning and strategizing. [00:11:16] Cara: that beautiful inspiration, that insight, that intuition comes in when we follow that cyclical pattern of the seasons we're supposed to follow. you add the things like our cycle with human design and we're like, oh, I've been trying to live in. Someone else's form, someone else's expectation. [00:11:36] Cara: And when we really understand that, like we are all beautiful and we all have so many [00:11:42] Cara: amazing strengths and we live from a [00:11:44] Cara: place of this is mine and that's yours. It's [00:11:47] Cara: beautiful. Especially in the coaching space. And I know [00:11:50] Cara: that's [00:11:50] Bren: through [00:11:50] Cara: we've gotten connected is there is a space for [00:11:54] Cara: every [00:11:54] Cara: type of coach. [00:11:55] Bren: Absolutely. [00:11:56] Bren: And my most recent saying that kind of came was be [00:12:00] courageously contrasting, right? Instead of trying to fit some mold or some idea or some teaching, we're in this phase to learn what's meant to be created from the inside out, not the outside in, which is kind of where we're coming from as a collective. [00:12:14] Embracing Personal Destiny: Unveiling the Right-Angle in Human Design --- [00:12:14] Cara: we both have a right angle in our charts the right angle can feel selfish, you and I are here for our personal destiny. It's about understanding who we are and how we operate and how we do things, and how we can heal ourselves. [00:12:28] Cara: And then we can take that experience and help other people. we technically don't need to interact with other people to live out our destiny, our destinies just be discovered who we are, and then doing that will mirror the people around us and they'll see that there are some people at the left angle and they are here for their interactions. [00:12:48] Cara: I felt so selfish that I've been on this such strong destiny of. Okay, this wasn't working for me. How can I empower myself to be a better version? [00:12:58] Cara: And, healing ourself[00:13:00] is not selfish, but for me [00:13:01] Cara: at least, there was a moment where I was like, gosh, [00:13:04] Cara: I really need to focus on myself so [00:13:06] Cara: that I can thatbetter mom, be that, better spouse. [00:13:09] Cara: I can be that [00:13:11] Cara: trying to [00:13:12] Bren: Hmm. Yeah, that definitely resonates. and those thoughts that come [00:13:16] Cara: be [00:13:16] Bren: It's, it's, that's what I call the spirit of shame that, comes [00:13:19] Bren: and the guilt [00:13:21] Bren: that authentic path. Andmy most recent realization is I would invite others into what I'm creating that's really rooted in my authenticity and all my over the past, you know, three or so years since I left corporate committed to my myself, when I would invite people in anger would come online, this like primal super out of nowhere. instead of. Honoring the anger as a boundary setter and my protector, I blamed it and I shamed it from, of course, receiving, you know, shame from a society where we're not allowed to have these, aggressive feelings. You know, maybe we're supposed to be caring and loving [00:14:00] all the time. No, the anger there from a healthy space is our protector, is our boundary setter. was so much in the shame narrative that That I would just, it would spiral me into a freeze response because I wouldn't allow it to do, its work. And then I would go numb and dissociate and depression would kick in because I wasn't following my dreams. [00:14:21] Bren: And so you just totally, um, again, that permission to trust myself when kind of don't care what anyone else thinks, I don't wanna invite them in on this specific chapter of my life because I know myself so well now that it's just extra and it gets in my way. And it's not that I don't love to co-create, I do, but this part of my chapter is about living my most authentic expression as Bren. [00:14:47] Demonstrating the Power of Honoring Emotions: Leading by Example in Self-Love and Self-Care --- [00:14:47] Cara: we both have a right angle in our charts the right angle can feel selfish, you and I are here for our personal destiny. [00:17:19] Equipping Your Journey of Self-Rediscovery: Unveiling the Tools for Personal Growth --- [00:17:19] Cara: Well, I love all that, and I getting to know the different tools that have supported your journey into finding this medicine [00:17:28] Bren: Yeah, somatics, uh, in the body and moving with the body and allowing myself to to feel again and with support I did a lot on my own And I could do a lot on my own, but mymost recent growth opportunity was allowing myself to be supported in that and to get more tools. it never failed that as soon as I hit like a plateau or couldn't get myself out of an energy that I would cycle into, I knew I was gonna be getting a new tool, I actually started [00:18:00] leaning into excitement when I would get stuck, burst frustration because I knew I was growing and a new tool was gonna come in. I love tapping Tappings. Been one that I've really enjoyed. I am an affirmation person as well when it comes to self-love and self-care. I know my love language, and that's really important to me is how can I communicate love to me in my love language? so I like quality time and I like affirmations. [00:18:24] Bren: So what do I do? Quality time with myself I, make sure that I fill my mind with loving affirmationsand reprogram any of that negative self-talk that comes from those stories that is rooted to energies that may surface. a lot of inner work. I've had help from plant medicine. I, the mushroom medicine as well as ayahuasca have been. [00:18:43] Bren: So helpful in my journey to support me in unfolding all of this and feeling those feelings and retrieving the, past that I just wasn't prepared to see or feel, but in a way that I could integrate it [00:19:00] healthfully slowlyand then out into my physical life, slowly over time. And so Mother Earth always has medicine and I appreciate her support in this, this healing process for myself. [00:19:13] Cara: I would love to more about your journey with ayahuasca and mushrooms. was ayahuasca, like one time wasmushrooms like more of a micro dosing? Like what was your journey with those tools? [00:19:26] Bren: Yeah, they both, um, worked with me a little bit differently. And at first, I'm, [00:19:29] Bren: a science background. I went to school for chemistry. I was a food scientist in the pet for 11 years and was out to prove the world total rejection of the. Other side of myself, the, spiritual free flowing chaos of a feminine. [00:19:45] Bren: it was slowly calling me in the career, three, four years ago, maybe little pings thatstarted to kind of like, get me curious as the collective also got to more curious, especially here, you know, in the US of what are these [00:20:00] plants? what are these people talking about, when they talk about mushrooms or ayahuasca? and once I kind of opened my curiosity, my husband for one was like, yes, let's watch Psychedelica, and I think you're really gonna like, it. And when I started to see the science behind it and how it supported people and healing from a, a traumatic past, I was just open and. To a point where I was so unhappy and. I didn't necessarily know why, Nothing was working from a traditional like Western standpoint, that made my mind open receive an alternative, a holistic path. From there, it was handed to me. I kind of said, I'm open, however, I'm not forcing things. I don't need to take off right away and find someone in, in Peru or, you know, a shaman that I don't know, like I'm gonna about to put myself in a vulnerable place and I think it's important that the right person find me and support me, that I can really be vulnerable with through my other self-care practices and, support. It found [00:21:00] me and happened to be in the middle of a, a myofascial massage that Pinged the, the practitioner. And he started asking curious questions and said, have you ever, uh, worked with Ayahuasca? And I said, no, but I've been calling it in. And he led me to the community that I then got to travel to Peru and sit with them in the jungle. [00:21:21] Bren: And it was amazing. And at the same time, mushrooms were coming in, to work. with me as well. And, I worked with both, so they were very different. And the mushrooms came in and supported me on full moons and new moon type work. they were really about, clearing any trauma. And from my past that was embedded in my body. [00:21:42] Bren: It wasn't about. actualizing something. It was about getting my past cleared out and to bring me to the present. Ayahuasca was more about, okay, now that you've done some of that work, here's some of your authenticity of what you're going to create moving forward. okay, here's some stuff to still maybe work on that will clear this [00:22:00] channel. but it really was showing me what's possible a larger view and back to oneness, completely dissolved. at one point my, physical body and was in the zero point in the nothingness not even something I can really express through words because it's outside of the mind. Yet from that experience on, as I came back to my body, I had nothing but joy for being able to be embodied, to touch and to feel and to hug and to see. because when I was in the nothingness, which is the everything, it was like, I just couldfeel and sense the vibrations and the music and everything as one. There but I couldn't get any further than that because I couldn't perceive it or with touching. So it was a very beautiful place. Yet it lacked me being able to experience it. And from that time, I just sat in complete bliss after that with such gratitude for life in form as Bren, there's nothing to [00:23:00] get to. [00:23:00] Cara: it's something that I would love to learn more about, I've heard many, many stories from a lot of people, most of them are just like, words can't describe it. it's, discerning of like, when's the time? Who's helping me? Finding the right dots for if and when that comes through. [00:23:14] Cara: And so I always love to hear everybody else's stories so that when it is my time, you know, what I'm looking for. But I also think a lot of times we have this perception of what it should be or what it will be, and we gotta have to let go of that control. I think that's a lot of what being in this human body is, is, [00:23:31] Cara: we want to control things. and [00:23:33] Cara: so I mean, at least that's definitely me. what needs to come forth will come forth And [00:23:38] Cara: that healing journey with it, [00:23:39] Bren: and that's so true. 'cause that's exactly, I had to let go of control and the [00:23:43] Bren: attachment to any expectations and any outcome. And once I surrendered and just was open to seeing is when the medicine found me. But it was not gonna find me until that [00:23:55] Bren: point. [00:23:55] Cara: my [00:23:55] Cara: question around that was did your begin [00:24:00] to [00:24:00] Cara: develop that when you were still working? And so when did you have that connection with that intuition that you have now? intuition [00:24:08] Bren: was probably Just around the same time that I started to honor that part of me Um, it was like, 2018. I had a shift in 2016 when my mom got sick. That really accelerated me And my healing journey from a, a little bit of a controlling perspective of like, okay, I need to get my physical body in shape. [00:24:29] Bren: And then, oh wait, there's more. There's mental and emotional I'm missing something. that was in 2016. And because I went down that journey to start supporting not only my physical body, but my mental and emotional body from that work that was actually motivated by fear, that started to open myself up to like, wait a minute. There's some stuff happening inside and outside of my normal perception that I started getting curious about, it kind of freaked me out a little bit, but I started to allow that [00:25:00] side of me to come through. My mom is also very spiritual and very connected and is an intuitive artist, and I was able to lean into her and be like, Hey, so these dreams are happening,or I'm getting these visions. [00:25:12] Bren: and then she's like, oh yeah, you know, and I'm like, okay, what is going on here of this part that I, I rejected with her so much. it brought such healing to our relationship. and then by 2018, because I started opening up this is all while still in corporate, The call just got louder and louder. and then the medicine came in and was like, yes, you're on the right path. And I just kept following it until ultimately in 2020, my intuition was so strong and my channels so opened that it was at four 30 on a Thursday, February 7th, I believe thatit was Like, now is your time. You need to quit right now. [00:25:47] Bren: And I was like, wait, just like right, now. And so I walked in, I said yes. It was a faith over fear and that I said okay. I'd been kind of testing it for a while. Like, oh, this, there's Something here. Faith, now's your [00:26:00] turning point. And I walked into my boss's office I gave him tissues. just said Something big is coming. I don't know all the details and I have to be ready to shift into something else. And I'm not sure what it is. I have to be honest with you about, you know, leadership in this that I can't be part of those conversations. we can figure out some type of transition that is the benefit of all. And he was really receptive. and then of course, I traveled with the Radiant Coaching Academy to, Honduras right after that. And then of course the whole world shut down. okay, this is why I was meant to start a transition. [00:26:33] Cara: That's awesome. I mean, that's beautiful that you were [00:26:36] Cara: listening. Do you feel like you've always had that intuitive sense? [00:26:40] Cara: like as a child, teenager, or [00:26:43] Cara: was it one of those things where you're like, well, I don't know what that [00:26:47] Bren: Yeah. Yeah, I now I think I've always had it and it overwhelmed my system. I was, very [00:26:56] Bren: Dissociated [00:26:56] Bren: and I don't have a lot of memories from childhood. [00:27:00] My family has more memories where, like, my grandmother loves to tell about the time when I was little, maybe four. And I was, talking and giggling, and she asked who I was talking to and I told her all the ghosties, you know, so I have other people that are able to tell me that was there, and then for whatever reason. I shut it completely down. it's just been in protection and in waiting and for good reason. It took me a little bit of time. I shamed myself a for allowing myself to be. [00:27:28] Bren: what everyone said I should be and play all these roles as a chameleon. But now looking back that I'm actually so brilliant that's exactly where I needed to be. [00:27:37] Bren: I needed to be in those corporate situations and I needed to place myself in these learning opportunities. it was always there the work and initiating the change from the sidelines. being that little guide, I was always mentoring and coaching people within corporate. off hours or outside of the scientist's role. [00:27:58] Bren: And so I would always try to figure out how to [00:28:00] both of those roles, which led me to burnout, which led me to be like, why aren't you a coach? Like, you do it already. so I said, Yeah. [00:28:08] Bren: that's a, good point. let's go try this whole coaching thing out. And I'm exhausted with the other roles and responsibilities that I've identified with. [00:28:16] Projectors in the corperate world and using their channel --- [00:28:16] Bren: Yeah, [00:28:16] Cara: projectors [00:28:17] Cara: aren't really meant to be in the corporate [00:28:20] Cara: worlds. Like it's just not designed for them. You know, you can usually keep up with it, but like I was saying, like you hit your thirties and you're like, whoa, I am not meant for this. it's beautiful that you listen to your intuition and that I truly believe that life is a puzzle we are meant to take these pieces to help support us in where we're supposed to be. And that if it doesn't, Propel you forward, it's gonna be a lesson so that you learn from it and you propel yourself forward. there's so many times where I'm like, oh, did I just waste my time with this? And I'm like, oh, that's how this intertwines This is gonna play a part in my role. [00:28:57] Cara: And I'm glad that's happened for [00:29:00] you. [00:29:00] Cara: And so with your mediumship, your channeling, your gifts, is it something you bring in with your coaching? Is it something you do for yourself? I have to ask like, do you feel any sort of spirit for me here? how does it play in your daily [00:29:16] Cara: life, your work life, and those types of things. [00:29:19] Bren: Yeah, that's a great question. and you know, I'm really, even to this moment, piecing that together. And that's what's so beautiful with this full moon and this time that we're approaching the Lionsgate portal. Where you felt separate is coming into unity. I've been compartmentalized in my gifts where I'd be a coach here and then I'd be corporate brand here, or I'd be a consult here. or I would, do energy healing for animals over here with like clairvoyance, but would do channeling with my voice. in this part, and then my music would be separate. So now I'm seeing how they're all actually meant to come together in my medicine bag in one [00:30:00] experience. So whenever someone works with me, I have, a few different options depending where they're at. and like you said earlier, usually when someone finds me, they're ready for big change and they're ready to have someone kind of encouraging and supporting and, bringing in other perspectives to challenge maybe some old rooted beliefs to, to bring curiosity in and see what's really wanting to be created. So part of that does include coaching naturally, but I don't call myself a coach. a self-care practitioner. That's because that is what I practice. That is what I do, and that is what I help others do. So figuring out how they love themselves and how they can incorporate that into practices. the medicine part is, is now all of those pieces and now includes the channeling and when people ask, right? so you ask like, you know, am I picking up anything? before the call? this is in the medicine world or working with plant medicine, people can relate to this maybe. Is there. [00:30:58] Bren: Uh, is a part of [00:31:00] the ceremony at the beginning where you integrate with the medicine and you maybe are making space for what's gotta come through in many ways, right? It, we call it the purge. it can be like nasal a lot of times would be, mine would be mucus. it can be gut, you know, release, yawning. [00:31:14] Bren: it never fails when I'm about to, be in a space with someone or open my channel that, I've gotta do the bathroom routine and I'm like, oh, hey, It's an indicator for me that there could be something coming through that I'm gonna be really open. and so that happened and as I opened my channel to come and be present with someone, then today I was picking up, some. [00:31:35] Bren: Gut, a little anxiety type, uh, emotion. and I'm only gonna be able to put words from my own personal experience. But when I work with someone, I invite them into to feel and tell me what's happening within them. But I may point to certain areas that I'm feeling. So my body will work as, the channel and tell me maybe where there's some energy stored in the body that's ready for a voice and [00:32:00] maybe for some support to heal and to be integrated or released. [00:32:04] Bren: and then with that invitation in, then we can go in there and then I open up to see if there's a channeled message. And what I channel is the universal language. This is the language of creation before there was any separation. So it comes from the zero point, from all the way up. And what I'm finding is it. [00:32:21] Bren: Bypasses some of the triggers of the mind, or the stories of the mind or the nervous system that would shut down the healing opportunity. Andit's a visceral, embodied response. oftentimes emotions will move or parts of someone want a voice from, whether it's their past childhood or their past life, whatever they resonate with. what's fun is that's my white space because it's very unknown and I always have absolutely no idea what's gonna come through [00:32:50] Bren: For right now you know, if you'd be interested, I'd be more than happy to share by a live example. It depends how comfortable, uh, in you feel in [00:33:00] receiving, but, uh, the energy right now is just slightly in the throat. [00:33:03] Channeled message --- [00:33:03] Cara: I'm always down for a can interactive experience for the listeners and whoever's watching, so if you're comfortable with it, I am all on board with it. [00:33:12] Bren: Okay, so yeah, so let's, let's just see what wants to come out so you get comfortable in whatever that means for you. Ice opened, ice closed, and just tuning into your breath and your body, bringing yourself fully present space. [00:33:27] Bren: Honoring that we get to take all the time that is needed to offer love and support to whatever wants to come through. And I will say that you know, this medicine that comes through is, is from the one that we are all connected to, that we all come from. So any listener that feels like joining, that feels that ping that resonates with anything that I say. You can claim to receive this medicine as your own because I trust that these words will make it to everyone right on time when they're ready to receive. [00:33:58] Bren: So the current energy [00:34:00] is a, uh, a restriction in the voice. It's very constricted and like there's a hard time swallowing. So we're just gonna just be with this, constricted energy in the body for a moment. [00:34:13] Bren: Some of the most potent medicine is radical acceptance. [00:34:18] Bren: So we honor, we honor this part that wants to show up that maybe is constricted in fear or doubt, and we ask for this part to be received. [00:34:28] Bren: You may find that you have comfort holding. A part of your body [00:34:33] Bren: or sending your breath [00:34:34] Bren: to the space so that we may work together. [00:34:37] Bren: Hmm. And as this space softens to receive new life force, [00:34:42] Bren: we're going to offer a voice. [00:34:44] Bren: [00:35:00] You are too powerful to be constricted. No one can censor you. No one can restrict you. [00:35:44] Bren: What are you waiting for? [00:35:58] Bren: This is old,[00:36:00] [00:36:03] Bren: is an old story. [00:36:08] Bren: You're being supported in this clearing. [00:36:10] Bren: Do not hold shame or blame for your voice. Be who you are [00:36:29] Bren: no matter what. [00:36:34] Bren: The world needs this now. You cannot wait. [00:36:45] Bren: It's time to honor your ancestors. This voice is a gift and there's a gift to be used ua, so use it. Hmm. Just taking a little time to breathe into this [00:37:00] space. [00:37:00] Bren: I know it's a little scary and it's okay to be scared. We find freedom in each breath. Breathing deep into the stomach, exhaling all fear, breathing in peace and out fear. [00:37:17] Bren: and taking all the time. You need to really breathe with this, with this message, with this clearing, with the space, [00:37:27] Bren: knowing that you are held and so much love. Mm. And so much happiness. [00:37:33] Bren: And when you feel ready to return fully to your body, you can start to wiggle your hands, find your feet, [00:37:45] Bren: come back to this call when you are 100% ready. And of course if there's anything you'd like to share, I am more than happy to receive. [00:37:56] Cara: That, that seems to be a reoccurring [00:38:00] message across the case, and I always think like, I have my podcast, I'm doing it, I'm speaking. But I feel like what felt within is like my own channel, is that what I'm blocking, my own channel. 'cause I feel it and I connect to it. is that disconnect of how I show up here and how I don't bring that piece to. I definitely feel it. I mean, I can like feel my throat. [00:38:25] Cara: Thank you so much. That was beautiful. I appreciate [00:38:27] Cara: that. [00:38:28] Bren: asking you a couple more questions about that. [00:38:30] Cara: Yeah. of course. [00:38:31] Bren: Yeah. Thank you. that part of you, you know, that disconnect you talk about and that awareness, if you tune into that part of you now, [00:38:39] Bren: what is that part feeling? [00:38:41] Cara: Shushed. It felt shushed. It felt, I think just me as a person, always felt that way. And I thought this was my way of, unblocking that. and so I think I always put that judgment or that expectation that it was from other people. But I'm wondering now, is it really, I've created this channel.[00:39:00] [00:39:00] Cara: Is it me [00:39:00] Cara: that's shushing or worried about [00:39:04] Cara: what that may be? The judgment. The judgment from other people? [00:39:07] Bren: Hmm mm-hmm. [00:39:10] Bren: that [00:39:10] Bren: part of you that is possibly shushing the other [00:39:13] Bren: part of you that really [00:39:15] Bren: wants to have that channel open, what does that part that is receiving shushing want to receive instead? [00:39:23] Cara: Just allowance to be able to do it, whether it's for me or for someone else. just to do it. I will say, I've recently been going on these channeled walks where I just talk to myself while I'm walking, and so I've been nurturing that a little bit more in the last week. I think it's just more of she's quiet and that She can be heard. She doesn't have to be so quiet. [00:39:46] Bren: Hmm. Yes. That's beautiful. And I love that you've [00:39:49] Bren: already identified a self-care practice of that self-nurturing and now you're able to give that part of you that was shushed in the past, the [00:40:00] healing that you need. And you also get to play that part of the adult that has the tools to do that. And when we start to offer our own medicine to our own parts in our world, then those parts start to trust us and will speak louder to you, and your channel will open more because. [00:40:20] Bren: Instead of shushing, you're going to invite that in with discernment and say, I've got you. What would you like to say? Right? Just 'cause my anger comes up. My parts used to be like blah, I had to be like, I hear you. Thank you so much. What are you trying to tell me? Ah, I got your back. Right? It's safe now. [00:40:38] Bren: I'm sorry for shushing you and I'm going to hold space and create space for you to be whatever you wanna be in a safe environment and surround yourself with those that will also encourage that. That's so important on this journey. When we are coming into our authenticity, we can be very vulnerable and very scared of the judgment of [00:41:00] others and I've found that it is so critical in this time to. [00:41:05] Bren: Only surround myself with those that will 100% offer medicine to my wounds when I find them, which is again, that path of that medicine man or medicine woman of if you're gonna point to a wound, you better be there to bring medicine and not venom, because so many times people open something up and only to add more venom to it. [00:41:25] Bren: So discerning of who is your circle to offer you medicine to an open wound that you're now wanting to dive into. And that's where communication is so important. Letting people know where you're at, where you're sensitive, what you're working through, and what you need as medicine. In a season, it's only gonna be a season, but in this season it's super vulnerable. [00:41:46] Cara: yeah, That makes so much sense. And like there's been kind of something this week that kind of triggered me and it's with spiritual people and supportive people and I think my first reaction is to not voice.[00:42:00] What I truly want. And so I did kind of voice it and, we'll see what comes of it. [00:42:04] Cara: But yeah, I really appreciate that and thank [00:42:07] Cara: you so much for sharing your wisdom [00:42:09] Cara: and your medicine. And I would love for you to tell listeners [00:42:13] Cara: and viewers how they can find and what [00:42:16] Cara: your offerings are. [00:42:17] Bren: Yeah, absolutely. The easiest place to find me now would probably be Instagram. Um, I'm at effortlessly unfolding, I believe there's a period in there, or Queen Bee. You can look up Queen Bee and find me that way as well, I believe. you'll find all my information and my links there that will at least get you to connect with me. [00:42:36] Bren: And I always start with a connection call just to make sure that I am the person, for someone at that time on their journey. Or sometimes I'm, I'm a networker. I may not be the one right away, but I might be able to point you in the right direction, and I'm always going to, to honor that part of our journey. [00:42:52] Bren: So the connection call at the beginning is very important to me. [00:42:55] Cara: I love that. And of course I will [00:42:57] Cara: have all your links and how everybody can [00:43:00] get connected with you in the show notes. And I, appreciate you coming on and us connecting. [00:43:06] Bren: Yay. I love that, and I'm excited to see you as you continue to open your channel and, I will be sharing more soon on a [00:43:13] Bren: couple options for those that maybe this resonates with as they're kind of stepping into their authentic self and feel like they may have that space as a channel or want to bring that through their channel as their divine creation. [00:43:26] Bren: I will be launching a, I believe I'm calling it a new Earth coaching certification through Radiant Coaching Academy, for those that feel called to be in service from the heart space, bringing their heart to this world as medicine, as we build new foundations for our world that we feel comfortable raising our children in and leaving it for the next. [00:43:48] Bren: Multiple generations, right? So I'm really excited and that will be that support to walk to opening your channel, to bring your unique medicine to this world. And only you know what it [00:44:00] is and only you know how to get it, access to it. I'm simply a guide. [00:44:04] Cara: Yes [00:44:04] Cara: I love that.
